The Best and Worst Outfits of the 2017 Golden Globe Awards

Last night’s Golden Globe Awards featured some of the best and worst outfits of the night from famous actors and actresses. Here are our top and worst picks that we settled on:

Top:

#1: Blake Lively in Versace

Walking the red carpet with fierceness and sexiness, Lively wins us over with a black velvet gown aligned with gold detailing along the top and pockets, definitely a fan favorite!

#2: Lily Collins in Zuhair Murad

Collins wows us with a Rosewood pink A-line dress with beaded detailing all around. Her red lips and eye shadow makes us fall in love with cute, romantic ball gowns and a classy look that isn’t very popular nowadays.

#3: Mandy Moore in Naeem Khan

Mandy stuns us with a gorgeous, sexy black dress that extends with a train following her footsteps every path of the way. The plunging neckline also gives her look a little twist but not too revealing at the same time showing everyone what a stunner she is.

#4: Regina King in Romona Keveza

King wows us with a gorgeous dress filled with sparkles that fits her body perfectly showing off her curves. She doesn’t bedazzle us too much with her added on jewelry but her hair and makeup adds a nice touch by completing the entire outfit.

#5: Evan Rachel Wood in Altazurra

Wood stuns us with not a dress, but a unique black pantsuit/tuxedo complimented with a white blouse and over-sized bow on top. A classic black and white outfit that is not like the others in a fancy dress, but a bold and chic top and bottom outfit applauded by many fans.

Worst:

#1: Zoe Saldana in Gucci

Zoe showed up at the Golden Globes in a pale pink and red silk chiffon dress with an asymmetrical tiered ruffled skirt topped off with a blush satin bow overwhelming ruffled ensemble made up of different shades of pink. This dress looks like a layered disaster that could be worn by a 10 year old at a birthday party. Definitely not a fan favorite!

#2: Carrie Underwood in Iris Serban

Underwood walked the red carpet in a pale pink dress with bizarre floral-like ruffles that resembled what looked “like pink cake icing”. Although the color is sweet and cute, the details on this dress is the complete opposite. The confused swirls and ruffles does not make the dress appealing at all. Beautiful lady who made a wrong choice of outfit for the night!

#3: Sarah Jessica Parker in Vera Wang

Miss Parker literally took this dress from the 2017 bridal collection of Vera Wang. A dress that is not the best choice for the Golden Globes added on top with a princess Leia hairstyle and a choice of bad makeup. You had better days than this Sarah!

#4: Jessica Biel in Elie Saab

Biel appeared in a black-and-white print skirt with a thigh-high slit added on with some odd 3-D appliqués on the sides which included sequins, flowers, crystal stones, silk threads and beads. The black deep-v neckline accented the mini checkerboard print skirt set but not enough to make her look outstanding. This was an odd piece put together.

#5: Janelle Monáe in Armani Privé

Janelle is dressed in a black sequin, wide neck bodysuit dress featuring a white gathered skirt of silk taffeta covered in obnoxious black polka dots. This is the type of dress somebody in the 50s would wear to the prom. Tacky and not cute!
