Happy FRIDAY!

Yet again it is the end of another work week and you  know what that means, cocktail time. Today’s featured drinks are a little sweet and a little sour so you get the best of both worlds. So try some of these recipes and enjoy some more of my jewelry as we start the end of January and begin February next week!
Midori Berry Bliss

This cocktail is something for all those fruit drink lovers out there. Because of the Midori melon liquor in it, it is a very colorful drink also making it fun for parties and group get togethers.
  • 1.5 parts Midori Melon Liqueur
  • 1 part Vanilla Vodka
  • .5 part Skyy Raspberry Infusions Vodka
  • Splash of Pineapple juice
  • Splash of soda water
  • Garnish: strawberry slices
Depending on how much of this you are going to make you can decide to make it in a punch bowl or make it in a regular pitcher to serve. Combine all the ingredients in the the container of choice and then garnish with sliced strawberries for added color. ENJOY!
Bliss (Signature Collection) $525, alzerina.com

Inspiration for this cocktail came from my Bliss necklace in my Signature Collection. You can add a splash of color to any outfit with this gorgeous piece. Made with Olivine Swarovski crystals and 24 kt gold plated wire and clasp. Just like the Midori Melon Bliss, this necklace is perfect for any cocktail parties to add a little piece of glamour to your look.

Many of my pieces are also customizable to any color and size for any occasion.
Cacique Guaro Sour
This cocktail is considered to be the national drink of Costa Rica. Made with Cacique Guaro, it can be found in the United States and not just in Costa Rica. This liquor is more like a vodka than anything else and can be used in many different kinds of drinks. To the locals this drink is also called Tico. If you ever get a chance to visit this beautiful country try some for yourself.

  • 2 oz of Cacique Guaro
  • 2 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz of sour mix

Fill a shaker with ice and pour all the ingredients together and shake vigorously. Pour into a rocks glass or glass of your choice and garnish with a raw sugarcane or a lime wedge. A bit sour it can still please the sweetest of drinkers. People who tend to like whiskey sours or margaritas, this would be something interesting to try. Comment and let me know if you get a chance to try this.

Costa Rica (Alzi Collection) $240, alzerina.com
Hopefully some of you know where the inspiration has come from for this exotic cocktail, it is none other then my Costa Rica necklace in my Alzi by Alzerina Collection. It is such a fabulous piece and would greatly compliment any summer outfit or vacation getaway. the mixture of jungle and beaches inspired the color palate of this beautiful necklace. It is made with Hyacinth and Olivine Swarovski crystal with 24 kt gold plated chain. Grab your luggage and set out to this vibrant country, grab a Cacique Guaro sour, your Alzerina Costa Rica necklace and relax on the beach for a wonderfully perfect get away.
Hopefully everyone will get to enjoy the weekend and be able to have some time off. We have some very exciting things happening here at Alzerina and are looking forward to sharing them with you.
We are also thinking about doing Zumba in the office next week. Does anyone have any good songs that we should use or any good dance moves?? Comment and let us know and we will make sure to try them out. Have a great week and Best Wishes! More jewelry and fun places to go next week!
